We were tasked with building an identity and website for a financial brokerage within the UK property market. Being a start-up, they did not have any existing assets which gave us the opportunity to build the identity from scratch and develop a cohesive language and strategy that services all aspects of the brand.
We started to develop the identity by looking at their key values. As they introduce investors to Alternative Assets (‘A’), that help to ensure a Balanced portfolio (‘B’), keeping up with current investments (‘C’), these three definitions combine to produce the three points in the brand triangle. Tying this in with the word ‘portfolio’ led us to the name Trifolio (The three key values in any portfolio). The logo was then developed by combining triangles which are known to be the strongest shape to further reinforce Trifolio’s values and also represent the security and structure of buildings and real estate.
As with all identities we build, a strong website should work to complement this and showcase it in the best way possible. We developed the site using mid-tones of red and blue to highlight key information and CTA’s, which can be used on either a light or dark background, whilst using navy and grey to give the website an elegant contemporary feel. We also employed the use of SVG backing-graphics and line work to give depth and character to the website structure.
The client was very pleased with the result and we continue to work with them on their advertising and SEO.
