The 79th Group approached us in January 2022 to rebrand their organisation and its’ subsidiaries, taking a holistic approach and unifying the brands as a collective rather than marketing them separately.
After auditing the brand, we found that there was a clear opportunity to convey the heritage and strength that had been established through their previous years of trading, while strengthening the typographic language across the brands and designing a clear identity system through the use of shape. We redrew the existing ’79’ mark and designed a shield mark to pay homage to the family history and origin, while using a premium, modern typeface to replace their existing logotype.
We established a simple design language using shape and structure to perfectly complement the new typographic system. Through this, we were able to easily design new stationery collateral; letterheads, business cards and email signatures.
The 79th Group were also keen to improve their existing web presence to bring it in-line with their new identity. We designed and deployed four new websites and an exclusive client portal system to aid in their onboarding process. The new websites created a network of professional, high-end websites that served each brand perfectly while implementing a consistent brand language to create a cohesive and trustworthy experience for their market.
